The light plays through the branches of the dark hedges in Ireland; this is an iconic place worth reading more about. The woody structure of the hedges provide a thick blanket of protection, clutching the path below it. As the morning sun streams through the hedging it creates a unique quality of light, passing through the shadows like ribbons. There is a sense you are walking forward into the unknown, as you consider what lies ahead. Iron oxide brown and yellow are blended with slate grey and titanium white to achieve this glistening colour palette, brimming with light and shadow focal points.
