#180 – Angels Among Us

This regal piece was commissioned as an ode to a treasured family member. A familiar visitor who was uniquely comfortable with the family, they always felt as if this blue jay was watching over them. There are some moments in our lives when we interact with nature in such a way that stops time, and leads us to consider our relationship with the earth. This painting captures a tranquil interaction between this beloved, symbolistic blue jay and the family. The deep sap greens and cyan blues contribute to a feeling of eternity and peace.
